Materials

• Seed beads (size 6/0 or 8/0)
• Earring hooks
• Beading needle
• Beading thread
• Scissors

Instructions

1. Cut a length of beading thread about 24 inches long. Thread the needle onto the thread and tie a knot at the end.
2. Thread 3 seed beads onto the needle and slide them down to the knot.
3. Bring the needle back through the second bead from the bottom, as shown in the diagram below.



4. Thread 2 seed beads onto the needle and slide them down to the last bead you stitched.
5. Bring the needle back through the second bead from the bottom, as shown in the diagram below.



6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until you have created a row of 8 beads.
7. To start the next row, thread 1 seed bead onto the needle and slide it down to the last bead on the previous row.

9. Thread 2 seed beads onto the needle and slide them down to the last bead you stitched.
